We have started working with Good Samaritan Baptist Missions, Inc. based out of Villa Rica, Georgia. It's missions cover Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Mexico. You can find more information by visiting their website at: www.goodsamaritan.ms. The mission was founded by Bob and Joan Tyson in 1964. Bob has gone on to be our Lord, while Joan and their two sons are carrying the missions further. We are involved in three aspects with this mission field. We are involved in getting children sponsored, so they can have a decent meal at school, and be issued a school uniform and shoes. This can be done for $30.00 a month. You also get the privilege of emailing your child as often as you would like. You can also make sure your child sees the dentist and doctor. This of course is extra, but not expensive at all. You also can buy your child clothes, food, and toys. There is an online store that you can visit to purchase these items from. You may also purchase them here in the states and send them to your child. It gives you such special blessings when your child emails you with such love and thanks for what you are doing for them. We have met Joan Tyson, and she is such a blessing. If you are worried about your money not going where it says it is, you can feel at ease by sending it here. Your money goes to help this child. Not anywhere else. We sponsor a child there and it has been a blessing. The second aspect that we are involved in is assisting the ones that are going through college to become a pastor. There again you can pay $30.00 a month to support a man going through college to become a pastor. This money gives this person a Spanish Bible and tracts, attendance to the college, clothes and shoes for work and pastoring. You can also provide additional assistance as with the medical and dental, and the clothes and food as is available through the children's program I mentioned above. The third aspect is the Spanish and Native American Mission. You can provide $30.00 a month for this field, as well. It will provide Bibles, tracts, Vacation Bible School materials and other necessary items, Clothes and shoes for Native Pastors, Support for Evangelistic and VBS programs. We also have a miision of Supporting Missionaries in the U.S. and Central America. You can support this mission for only $100.00. This money goes to support Rhonpaul Ministries. It will be used to support the above programs plus support our ministry needs. As part of our mission work, we are also asking everyone, if you have any old ties or suits that don't fit anymore or you just don't use we would love to have them donated for these pastors. We are also looking for shoes for them as well. We are also accepting clothes and shoes of all sizes for the children and women that are over there that's a part of this mission work. We wil be happy to give you a receipt for your donation so you can write it off on your income taxes next year. Again, thank you for your support and may God bless you richly. We went on a mission trip to Honduras, on March 1, 2010. We went as a part of this mission group, and had an awesome time. We visited the schools that the mission has built and started, as well as many of their food kitchens. We even met the child that we sponsor. We saw so much that was heart wrenching, and so much that was tear jerking. But no matter how good nor bad, we could see work that the Lord had done. We are so blessed in the states to have the things we have. Yet we want more. In Honduras, alot of the people don't have electricity, doors nor windows on their homes, yet they were happy. We met some that knew Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and we met some that didn't. We did get the opportunity to share our Lord with them. We passed out Spanish bibles, food, stuffed animals, and clothes. It was an honor to be able to go on this trip and see the things that we saw.
